tl:dr Earn Money via chatting, watching videos, playing games, unlocking your screen and searching the web.
How it works is that the app will show ads while you chat, watch videos, play games and search the web. Then they will share some of the revenue with you. Another way of earning more money is via referral where you will earn a percentage from the direct referral and you will also earn from their referral.
The best way to earn from this app is to refer as many people as possible. However, the drawback of the app is that you need to use the app continuously for at least 60 days before your points become available for withdrawal. Currently, I have not met the 60 days and will update again when I have achieved that.
Points per video ad: 0.100 (once every 30mins about 20 videos a day)

Alternative Ways to Earn Money While Staying At Home (July 2018 Update)
Sometimes when we have extra time on our hands and wonder what to do if we do not want to study or just do nothing. How nice it will be if money will just drop from the sky. However, there is no free lunch in this world and money still needs to be earned. What if there are options that do not require much effort? Here are some of the things that I am doing to increase my income. However, do not wish for the sky as these methods only provide minimal amount of money and can at most buy you a meal or two in a given month. If interested, you can have a try. Here are some of the easy ways to earn money while at home in Singapore.

I have withdrawn at least S$75 from Yougov via Paypal but the only sad thing about this is that the payout rate seems to be lower than the one they have in UK where 5,000 points translate to 50 pounds. The singapore version pays S$25 for every 5,000 points.

Withdraw Rate: About once every 2 months

Module Reviews For Year 3, Semester 1 (AY2015/2016)
This is my compulsory Industrial Attachment(IA) Semester hence I am only allowed to take up to 8mcs worth of module. Since, I was also taking EG3301R from the last semester, it spilled over to this semester worth 6mcs so I did not take any other modules.

EG3611 - Industrial Attachment (24 weeks)
Difficulty - 10/10
This module is a compulsory 24 weeks internship where every engineering student has to go through either in their year 3 semester 1 or 2.
I will not reveal where I work as I would like to stay anonymous as long as possible but it is a Research and Development(R&D) firm which helped me to learn a lot about the industry and how design process is conducted in an MNC. Furthermore, it feels a lot more structured and well documented as compared to what I have done for my DCP project and I believe it has helped me to open my eyes to the product development industry.
Word of caution: Try to get used to sleeping earlier and be on time for your IA. Furthermore, best is to prevent yourself from eating too much during lunch otherwise, it is very difficult to fight off the food coma.

EG3301R - DCP Project
Difficulty - 10/10 (especially tiring since I took it during IA semester and I believe it is not encouraged anymore)
This module is spread over 2 semesters from year 2 semester 2 to year 3 semester 1, where it is worth 6mcs per semester. You will have to choose a project and form groups with people whom you most likely will not know unless you are part of a project group that has been ongoing for a while like FSAE or Bumblebee and your project will be related to those. Otherwise, you get to choose projects where there is a wide variety (can't really remember anymore). I will not reveal my project as I will prefer that less people can identify me from this blog post.
Not really sure how to review this module but it will be multi disciplinary and you will have to work with people from different majors or if your project is filled with say all mechanical students, and there are electrical components, it will still have to be done and someone needs to do it regardless of their majors.
However, a word of caution is that this module has a lot of documentation to do as shown in the module breakdown below and the actual design and prototyping process might have insufficient time. Furthermore, be prepared to spend a lot of time on the project if you would like to get a better grade.

Lectures are about design thinking and will last through the first half of year 2 semester 2. After that it will be industry talks and all are compulsory as it will contribute to 5% of your grade.

Investment: New Counter - EIMI
Even though the STI index is still classified mainly under the developing markets, I feel that there is a need for some exposure to other emerging market stocks such as China and India where this iShares Core MSCI EM IMI UCITS ETF | EIMI will enable me to get the required exposure that I want. From what I read, Singaporeans do not have to focus on the Emerging Market yet and should focus on the local market as we will usually retire in Singapore and should build up our portfolio based on Singapore stocks or ETF. However, I believe that it is worth trying with a small amount of money when I am young so that if I fail, I can fail fast.

Coffee Gone Bad?
I received a free sealed cold coffee the previous week and have forgotten to drink it until today. Thinking that it is sealed and since there is no expiry date on the bottle, it should be fine? After finally remembering that the coffee still exist in my refrigerator, I broke the seal and took a gulp. Guess what, its texture is that of slimy (imagine mucus). That is after i took a gulp before realising my mistake. While trying to pour it down the sink, it seems to be clogging the sink a bit and I decided to throw the whole bottle away. I feel bad for wasting coffee but it seems like it is spoilt (maybe someone can advise me on this?) and I am prepared for diarrhoea.
